GE Product Licensing GE software products are licensed through the use of Security Dongles (Keys). These devices deliver a great deal of flexibility as compared with other license solutions. They can easily be moved from machine to machine.

Updating Proficy Common Licensing or M1 Licensing We have combined the installation of the M1 and M4 Licensing software. There is now a single installation required regardless of the type of key you are using. The Proficy Licensing software is required to support our entire suite of products. To properly interpret new product options and versions on the key, the licensing software is frequently updated.
