Hi Mike, As the construction of Windows Vista is similar with that of Windows Server 2008, this article also applies for Windows Vista. Please feel free to try the following steps to troubleshoot this issue: 1. Copy the Addfilter.exe file to a folder on the computer.

Click Start, click Run, type CMD, and then click OK. Type the following command, and then press ENTER, where Path is the path of the Addfilter.exe file: Path addfilter u afamgt This will remove the filter driver from the registry.

Manually delete the Afamgt.sys file from the following folder: C:windows/System32/drivers You may contact Dell to obtain the Addfilter.exe file. If anything is unclear, please let me know.
